Brief History of Anabolic Steroids

Anabolic steroids have been around for nearly 70 years. Most popular anabolic steroids have been known since the 1980s.

Steroids gradually began to change after they were discovered in the 1950s.

In the 1940s, discoveries in the field of testosterone and its anabolic effect prompted the production of testosterone by injection, which was intended for people suffering from malnutrition. In the 50s, Eastern European athletes began using these injections to increase their strength.

What is new from this chemistry comes from the Russians, who are gaining incredible power with surprising ease.

Dr. John Dzigler has tested whether testosterone can be effective in building muscle mass and great strength in Russian athletes.

In an attempt by American athletes to do the same, they and CIVA labs created Dianabol in 1956.

This chemistry is a crude testosterone derivative, but it is the most effective of all anabolic steroids ever produced.

In 1964, all American anabolic steroids were sold on the market - Anadrol, Deca, Anavar, Winstrol and many other well-known drugs to this day.
