For a long time, fans have been asking for an independent “Black Widow” movie, and Marvel Studios finally pulled the trigger and locked this independent movie as the first movie in the fourth phase of the MCU.
After an exhaustive search, Scarlett Johansson personally selected independent film producer Cate Shortland as the director. Florence Pugh (Florence Pugh) played Yelena (Yelena), comic fans called it the role of the final black widow, and David Harbor (David Harbor) played the Soviet red equivalent of Captain America Red Guardian.
The movie was originally scheduled to be released on May 1, 2020, but it was postponed due to the pandemic. Now, it will be released in theaters and Disney+ on the same day (as part of the Premier Access level, the price is higher).
