Players Pokemon Go are figuring out the counters to the possibilities.
Technically, the second generation of legendaries should also contain the likes of creatures like Suicune and Celebi, but they were pictured in the footage. Judging by how profoundly Pokémon Go has highlighted the birds –they are, after all, the emblems for the various teams–and judging from the trailer itself, it appears to be a pretty good bet that the first mythical will be a bird. We know that the birds are in the game, they are simply not widely available.
It would follow, then, that you would like a monster that could take down a mythical bird. For months now, players have theorized that 1 of the best is Golem. It is a choice that is funny–Golem is not the critter that comes to mind when you think of, and he is not tearing up in the games. However, Golems are being powered up by some of the hardcore players out there.
Golem, you see, is a stone / Ground-type monster which has a maximum CP of 2916 and an assault of 211. This means he will succeed against Articuno, Moltres, and Lugia, all that are weak to stone, and he will succeed against Zapdos since Ground-type is powerful against power. It may not be advisable to begin beefing up that stone to prepare for the legendary raids for those who have a Golem, and the Stardust/Candy to spare.
In the meantime, do not be surprised if you see articles like these on Social Networking, ramping up even more as Saturday draws near:
For those of you in the same boat, other top attackers contain Omastar and Tyranitar, though even much more common creatures like Jolteon, Flareon, and Vaporeon can be useful, depending on what legendary you’re facing up against. Heck Dragonite is bad.
If defeated, that mythical will begin appearing on July 23rd in special stunt conflicts.
